It was so long since published a recipe for bread, and I wanted to make a different recipe.
I've put the name 6-grain bread because it takes a mixture of 6 grains besides wheat flour.
What is true is that as I spent with the grain and would have been lighter with less. But for breakfast or dinner, I think it's great, and natural flavor.
Ingredients:
- 300 gr. bread flour
- 200 gr. 6 flakes (wheat, oats, rye, barley, maize and rice)
- 20 gr. fresh yeast
- 140 gr.
- milk 140 gr. water
- 20 gr.groups
- 18 gr. olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
Mix milk and water, and dissolve yeast in this mixture.
Put sifted flour into a bowl with oil, salt, and honey.
Pour yeast mixture over the bowl.
Knead with the help of the blender-mixer.
6 Add cereal mixture and knead again.
Make a ball, place in a clean bowl, cover with a cloth and let rise until double in size.
Once it has doubled in size, take the dough, shape it (in my case small bars), place on baking sheet covered with greaseproof paper and leave it again an hour weigh.
Preheat oven to 200 ยบ C
Paint the scones with milk before baking, and make 3 cuts each.
Bake about 30 minutes. (Perhaps in another oven takes a little longer ... I think my temperature gets more marks)
As you can see in the picture is not excessive, but it is true that is more suitable for breakfast and dinner, the taste that provide grains.
Anyway, as I love those natural flavors in the bread, I'll do another version with less to take also at noon.
