My lemon curd
recently circulating many recipes lemon curd.
I am going to put mine, which is neither better nor worse than others.
To begin, I make this cream inthe bakery of Lidl, but can be done by hand perfectly.
Ingredients:
- 350 ml.
lemon juice - zest of 2 lemons (yellow part only, the bitter white)
- 300 gr.
sugar - 150 gr.
butter - 5 eggs in a bowl
Beat sugar, eggs, juice and lemon zest.
When everything is well mixed pour it into the baking tray and use the "jam".
When the cream is thick and half an hour, I add the butter cut into cubes and let cook about 10 or 15 min. more. Hide
baking and taking care not to burn yourself, remove the bucket, pass the cream through a sieve and fill sterile jars (to me left 2), turn down and once cool, refrigerate.
not say how hold on, because I had 2 bottles and the first almost nothing left and I have the second and fate, but all the recipes I consulted
speak of at least two weeks in the fridge (we put a lock I would go for so long for me) and a maximum of 2 months.
